Cascade Cougars (Turner, OR) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Molalla Indians (Molalla, OR), 65-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Cascade upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Cougars host Marist (Eugene, OR) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 4-2. Marist lost 55-46 in their recent non-league bout against Scappoose (Scappoose, OR)

Next up, the Indians play the Cottage Grove Lions (Cottage Grove, OR) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Molalla will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 52-36 non-league loss to South Umpqua (Myrtle Creek, OR).
