The Springbrook Blue Devils basketball team (Silver Spring, MD), was overwhelmed 62-24 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Clarksburg Coyotes (Clarksburg, MD)
The Coyotes now possess a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Quince Orchard for a Montgomery County - 4A West battle on Friday, January 6. Clarksburg will confront a Cougars team coming off a 54-23 league win over Northwest (Germantown, MD). The Cougars record now stands at 4-2.
The Blue Devils (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Long Reach (Columbia, MD). The Lightning come into the non-league battle with a 0-4 record.
