New Mexico High School Basketball - Penasco ripped by Clayton

The Clayton Yellowjackets basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Penasco Panthers to 27 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Logan for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Clayton will battle a Longhorns team coming off a 44-35 non-league win over Tucumcari (Tucumcari, NM). The Longhorns record now stands at 8-3.
The Panthers (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Taos (Taos, NM). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Taos was routed by Miyamura (Gallup, NM), 41-35, in a non-league contest.
