Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Jenkins Cavaliers (Jenkins, KY) and the visiting Council Cobras (Council, VA), saw Jenkins's basketball squad wallop Council by a tally of 58-35.

With the victory, Jenkins improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Twin Valley (Pilgrims Knob, VA) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 30. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 3-3.

Next up, the Cobras play the Hurley Rebels (Hurley, VA) in a Black Diamond challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Council will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record.
