Damascus Christian Eagles (Damascus, OR) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Joseph Eagles (Joseph, OR), 58-18 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Damascus Christian upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Country Christian (Molalla, OR) to play the Cougars in a 1A Valley 10 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 5-2.

Next up, the Eagles play the Dufur Rangers (Dufur, OR) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 22. Joseph will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Rangers come into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 49-39 non-league win over Perrydale (Amity, OR).
