Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Downers Grove South Mustangs (Downers Grove, IL), 47-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Minooka upgrades its record to 4-8 on the season. The Indians travel to Sandburg (Orland Park, IL) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, December 26. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Sandburg won 57-29 in their recent non-league bout against Oswego East (Oswego, IL)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs (Riverside, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 26. Downers Grove South will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 54-25 non-league loss to Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL).
