The Dutchtown Griffins (Geismar, LA) basketball knocked off the visiting White Castle Bulldogs (White Castle, LA), 64-45 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Griffins (13-1) will now prepare for their test against Assumption (Napoleonville, LA). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Assumption went down by Brusly (Brusly, LA), 53-39, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Donaldsonville for a non-league test on Thursday, December 29. White Castle will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 56-45 non-league loss to Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-6.
