New Town (Owings Mills, MD) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Franklin Indians (Reisterstown, MD), 65-29 in a league bout.

With the victory, New Town upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The host Indian Creek (Crownsville, MD) to play the Eagles in a IAAM C bout on Thursday, December 29. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 0-4. Indian Creek lost 53-46 in their recent non-league bout against Oakland Mills (Columbia, MD)

Next up, the Indians play the Chesapeake Bay Hawks (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 4. Franklin will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Bay Hawks come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 23-19 league loss to Patapsco (Baltimore, MD).
