In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Grace Christian Academy Lions (Franklin, TN) basketball squad beat the visiting Pope John Paul II Knights (Hendersonville, TN), by a count of 47-36.
The Lions (6-5) will now prepare for their outing against Providence Christian Academy (Murfreesboro, TN). The LIONS go into the Division II-A Middle District 3 outing with a 8-2 record.
The Knights now hold a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Lipscomb Academy for a Division II-AA Middle outing on Tuesday, January 3. Pope John Paul II will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 51-44 non-league loss to Middle Tennessee Christian (Murfreesboro, TN). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-7.
