Harbor Pirates (Santa Cruz, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Oakwood Hawks (Morgan Hill, CA), 51-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Harbor upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Pirates travel to San Lorenzo Valley (Felton, CA) to play the Cougars in a Santa Cruz Coast bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 7-2. San Lorenzo Valley lost 65-54 in their recent non-league bout against Presentation (San Jose, CA)

Next up, the Hawks play the York Falcons (Monterey, CA) in a PCAL - Arroyo bout, on Wednesday, January 4. Oakwood will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record.
