The Spring Valley Academy basketball squad scored 62 points and limited the visiting Ironton Fighting Tigers to 31 in the non-league win on Wednesday.

With the win, Spring Valley Academy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The host Yellow Springs (Yellow Springs, OH) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Yellow Springs lost 70-5 in their recent league bout against Middletown Christian (Franklin, OH)

Next up, the Fighting Tigers clash with the Scott Skyhawks (Madison, WV) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 27. Ironton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Skyhawks go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 67-47 non-league win over Man (Man, WV).
