McIntosh Demons (McIntosh, AL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Robertsdale Golden Bears (Robertsdale, AL), 46-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, McIntosh upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Demons host Thomasville (Thomasville, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 22. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 7-4. Thomasville won 42-32 in their recent non-league bout against St. Luke's Episcopal (Mobile, AL)

Next up, the Golden Bears play the W.S. Neal Eagles (East Brewton, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Robertsdale will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record.
