The Woodstock Academy Centaurs (Woodstock, CT) ice hockey nipped the visiting Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI), 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Centaurs now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Tri-Town for a Nutmeg Conference battle on Friday, December 30. Woodstock Academy will play a team coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Conard (West Hartford, CT). The record now stands at 0-1.
The Crusaders (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Pilgrim (Warwick, RI). The Patriots come into the State Championship Division battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Pilgrim nipped Mansfield (Mansfield, MA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
