The Gig Harbor Tides basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Aberdeen Bobcats to 24 in the Tides non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Tides now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to North Thurston for a bout on Friday, January 6.

Next up, the Bobcats clash with the WF West Bearcats (Chehalis, WA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Aberdeen will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Bearcats go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 49-43 non-league loss to Washougal (Washougal, WA).
