Tennessee High School Basketball - Anderson County can't hold off William Blount

The William Blount Governors basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the host Anderson County Mavericks to 63 in the Governors non-league victory on Thursday.

The Governors now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeshore for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. William Blount will battle a team coming off a 86-72 non-league win over Salmen (Slidell, LA). The record now stands at 11-3.

The Mavericks (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Carter (Strawberry Plains, TN). The Green Hornets come into the non-league contest with a 5-7 record.
