Norwalk Lancers (Norwalk, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Avalon Lancers (Avalon, CA), 47-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Norwalk upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Lancers travel to Pioneer (Whittier, CA) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 26. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 10-3. Pioneer lost 58-55 in their recent non-league bout against Montebello (Montebello, CA)

Next up, the Lancers play the Ocean View Seahawks (Huntington Beach, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 22. Avalon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Seahawks go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 69-30 non-league loss to Yorba Linda (Yorba Linda, CA).
