    The Beaverhead County Beavers basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Polson Pirates to 19 in the Beavers non-league triumph on Thursday.

    The Beavers now sport a 5-1 record.

    The Pirates (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Hamilton (Hamilton, MT). The Broncs enter the non-league contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Hamilton triumphed over Libby (Libby, MT), 69-45, in a non-league contest.
