Hackensack Comets (Hackensack, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bergen Tech Knights (Hackensack, NJ), 64-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hackensack upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Comets travel to Bogota (Bogota, NJ) to clash with the Buccaneers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 23. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Bogota won 74-67 in their recent non-league bout against Ridgefield Memorial (Ridgefield, NJ)

Next up, the Knights clash with the Clifton Mustangs (Clifton, NJ) in a Big North - Liberty bout, on Thursday, January 4. Bergen Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
