Maine High School Basketball - Thornton Academy edges Biddeford

The Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME) basketball nipped the host Biddeford Tigers (Biddeford, ME), 58-53 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Trojans (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Windham (Windham, ME). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Windham got by Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME), 69-53, in a non-league test.

The Tigers now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Cape Elizabeth for a non-league test on Saturday, December 23. Biddeford will encounter a Capers squad coming off a 65-44 league loss to Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME). The Capers record now stands at 0-3.
