The Great Mills Hornets basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Bladensburg Mustangs to 55 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Hornets now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host C. Milton Wright for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Great Mills will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 57-53 non-league win over Lake Clifton (Baltimore, MD). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-0.

The Mustangs (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 10-5 record.
