Buckeye Panthers (Buckeye, LA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Holy Savior Menard Eagles (Alexandria, LA), 61-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Buckeye upgrades its record to 16-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Plainview (Glenmora, LA) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Friday, December 22. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 10-7. Plainview won 59-39 in their recent non-league bout against Oberlin (Oberlin, LA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Bolton Bears (Alexandria, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 22. Holy Savior Menard will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record.
