The Bucktail Bucks (Farwell, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Northern Potter Panthers (Ulysses, PA), 59-54 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Bucks (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Curwensville (Curwensville, PA). The Golden Tide go into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Curwensville got by Glendale (Flinton, PA), 55-46, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Port Allegany for a North Tier test on Wednesday, January 3. Northern Potter will encounter a Gators squad coming off a 54-20 league win over Oswayo Valley (Shinglehouse, PA). The Gators record now stands at 4-4.
