The Buena Colts tipped the host Skyline Coyotes basketball team by a final score of 54-47 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Colts face the Palo Verde Titans (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 22. Buena will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Titans enter the game with a 10-2 record after their 71-56 non-league win over Bisbee (Bisbee, AZ).

The Coyotes (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Mountain View (Mesa, AZ). The Toros come into the 6A East Valley battle with a 5-5 record.
