In Thursday's non-league outing, the Chinle Wildcats (Chinle, AZ) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Whitehorse Raiders (Montezuma Creek, UT), by a margin of 72-23.

The Wildcats (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Shonto Prep (Shonto, AZ). The Grizzlies go into the non-league outing with a 1-7 record. In their last outing, Shonto Prep was trounced by Ash Fork (Ash Fork, AZ), 66-20, in a non-league outing.

The Raiders now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Pinnacle for a 1A Region 19 outing on Friday, January 5. Whitehorse will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 63-44 non-league loss to Piute (Junction, UT). The Panthers record now stands at 6-4.
