The Passaic Valley Hornets (Little Falls, NJ) basketball nipped the host Clifton Mustangs (Clifton, NJ), 56-50 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Hornets (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Hasbrouck Heights (Hasbrouck Heights, NJ). The Aviators go into the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Hasbrouck Heights got by Saddle Brook (Saddle Brook, NJ), 63-26, in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Watchung Hills Regional for a non-league test on Saturday, December 23. Clifton will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 57-47 non-league win over Bridgewater-Raritan (Bridgewater, NJ). The Warriors record now stands at 4-0.
