In Thursday's non-league outing, the Crookston Pirates (Crookston, MN) basketball squad edged the visiting Fosston Greyhounds (Fosston, MN), by a margin of 57-53.
The Pirates (1-5) will now prepare for their outing against Roseau (Roseau, MN). The Rams go into the AA Section 8 outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Roseau held off East Grand Forks (East Grand Forks, MN), 75-73, in a league outing.
