Emmett Huskies (Emmett, ID) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lighthouse Christian Lions (Twin Falls, ID), 52-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Emmett upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Huskies travel to Bishop Kelly (Boise, ID) to clash with the Knights in a 4A Southern Idaho bout on Thursday, January 4. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 3-4.

Next up, the Lions clash with the Carey Panthers (Carey, ID) in a 1A I Snake River bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Lighthouse Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record.
