Orangefield Bobcats (Orangefield, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Fairview Panthers (Grant, LA), 71-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Orangefield upgrades its record to 16-1 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Venus (Venus, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 15-4. Venus won 56-48 in their recent league bout against Alvarado (Alvarado, TX)

Next up, the Panthers play the Elizabeth Bulldogs (Elizabeth, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 22. Fairview will attempt to upgrade on its 9-14 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 8-9 record after their 69-38 non-league win over Grant (Dry Prong, LA).
