Connecticut High School Basketball - Simsbury can't hold off Farmington

The Farmington River Hawks basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Simsbury Trojans to 62 in the River Hawks non-league triumph on Thursday.
The River Hawks now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Enfield for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Farmington will battle a Eagles team coming off a 70-64 league loss to RHAM (Hebron, CT). The Eagles record now stands at 0-3.
The Trojans (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Capital Prep (Hartford, CT). The Trailblazers enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Capital Prep was nudged by Classical Magnet (Hartford, CT), 60-52, in a league contest.
