The Fitzgerald Spartans basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Saginaw Trojans to 32 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Spartans now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Old Redford Academy for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Fitzgerald will meet a Ravens team coming off a 72-59 league loss to Edison Academy (Detroit, MI). The Ravens record now stands at 2-4.

The Trojans (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Pershing (Detroit, MI). The Doughboys enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record.
