In Thursday's non-league outing, the Trinity Hillers (Washington, PA) basketball squad felled the host Fort Cherry Rangers (McDonald, PA), by a margin of 42-34.

The Hillers (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Connellsville (Connellsville, PA). The Falcons go into the WPIAL 5A 1 outing with a 0-8 record.

The Rangers now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Frazier for a WPIAL 2A 4 outing on Tuesday, January 2.
