Pickett County Bobcats (Byrdstown, TN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Glencliff Colts (Nashville, TN), 64-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pickett County upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Stewarts Creek (Smyrna, TN) to clash with the Red Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, December 22. The Red Hawks go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Stewarts Creek won 87-82 in their recent non-league bout against Christ Presbyterian Academy (Nashville, TN)

Next up, the Colts clash with the Pearl-Cohn Firebirds (Nashville, TN) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Glencliff will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Firebirds go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 55-51 non-league win over Howard Tech (Chattanooga, TN).
