Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the West Valley Eagles (Spokane, WA) and the visiting Hermiston Bulldogs (Hermiston, WA), saw West Valley's basketball squad hold off Hermiston by a tally of 57-50.

The Eagles (7-0) will now prepare for their test against Bonners Ferry (Bonners Ferry, ID). The Badgers go into the non-league test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Bonners Ferry got by Orofino (Orofino, ID), 95-44, in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Camas for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 27. Hermiston will encounter a Papermakers squad coming off a 75-59 non-league loss to Davis (Yakima, WA). The Papermakers record now stands at 3-4.
