The Stroudsburg Mountaineers basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Honesdale Hornets to 44 in the Mountaineers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Mountaineers now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Louis E. Dieruff for a non-league contest on Friday, December 22. Stroudsburg will battle a Huskies team coming off a 62-45 league loss to Parkland (Allentown, PA). The Huskies record now stands at 2-4.

The Hornets (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA). The Wildcats enter the Lackawanna 2 contest with a 0-1 record.
