Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Wings Academy Wings (Bronx, NY) and the visiting Kennedy Knights (Bronx, NY), saw Wings Academy's basketball squad hold off Kennedy by a count of 76-71.

With the victory, Wings Academy upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Wings travel to Bowne (Flushing, NY) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 30. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 7-1.

Next up, the Knights play the Truman Mustangs (Bronx, NY) in a PSAL AAAA Manhattan/Bronx challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Kennedy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.
