LEAP Academy Lancers (Camden, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Schalick Cougars (Pittsgrove, NJ), 52-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, LEAP Academy upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Lancers host Cedar Creek (Egg Harbor City, NJ) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Friday, December 22. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Cedar Creek lost 55-44 in their recent league bout against Bridgeton (Bridgeton, NJ)

Next up, the Cougars play the Cape May County Tech Hawks (Cape May Court House, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Schalick will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
