The Webster County Trojans basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Letcher County Central Cougars / Lady Cougars to 63 in the Trojans non-league victory on Thursday.

With the win, Webster County upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Trojans host Wilson Central (Lebanon, TN) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, December 22. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-8. Wilson Central lost 71-52 in their recent non-league bout against Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY)

Next up, the Cougars / Lady Cougars play the Knott County Central Patriots (Hindman, KY) in a District 53 bout, on Thursday, January 4. Letcher County Central will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record.
