The Lewis Mills Spartans (Burlington, CT) basketball knocked off the visiting Middletown Blue Dragons (Middletown, CT), 51-40 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Spartans (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Bristol Eastern (Bristol, CT). The Lancers go into the Central Connecticut - West Colonial test with a 3-0 record.
The Blue Dragons now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to St. Joseph for a non-league test on Thursday, December 28. Middletown will encounter a Cadets squad coming off a 79-70 non-league win over Masuk (Monroe, CT). The Cadets record now stands at 1-1.
