California High School Basketball - Live Oak fells Mt. Pleasant

Live Oak Acorns (Morgan Hill, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mt. Pleasant Cardinals (San Jose, CA), 57-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Live Oak upgrades its record to 3-6 on the season. The Acorns travel to Calvary Chapel (Santa Ana, CA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 8-6. Calvary Chapel won 69-58 in their recent league bout against St. Margaret's (San Juan Capistrano, CA)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Yerba Buena Aztec Warriors (San Jose, CA) in a Blossom Valley - West Valley bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record.
