New Jersey High School Basketball - Ridgefield Park can't hold off Mahwah

The Mahwah Thunderbirds basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the host Ridgefield Park Scarlets to 44 in the Thunderbirds non-league victory on Thursday.
The Thunderbirds now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Emerson for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 23. Mahwah will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 58-52 league loss to Park Ridge (Park Ridge, NJ). The Cavaliers record now stands at 0-4.
The Scarlets (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against West Milford (West Milford, NJ). The Highlanders come into the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, West Milford was nudged by DePaul Catholic (Wayne, NJ), 65-63, in a non-league contest.
