New Jersey High School Basketball - Timber Creek Regional can't hold off Mainland Regional

The Mainland Regional Mustangs basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Timber Creek Regional Chargers to 50 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedar Creek for a Cape/Atlantic - National contest on Friday, January 5.

The Chargers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Burlington Township (Burlington, NJ). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Burlington Township was nudged by Cinnaminson (Cinnaminson, NJ), 60-51, in a non-league contest.
