In Thursday's non-league outing, the Mora Rangers/Rangerettes (Mora, NM) basketball squad edged the host Maxwell Bears (Maxwell, NM), by a count of 45-38.
The Rangers/Rangerettes (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Questa (Questa, NM). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Questa held off Coronado (Gallina, NM), 46-39, in a non-league outing.
The Bears now hold a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy for a non-league outing on Friday, January 5.
