The Orlando Science Orcas basketball team (Orlando, FL), was overwhelmed 54-33 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Merritt Island Christian Cougars (Merritt Island, FL)

The Cougars now possess a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burns Sci-Tech for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 4. Merritt Island Christian will confront a Eagles team coming off a 58-23 non-league loss to Taylor (Pierson, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.

The Orcas (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Taylor (Pierson, FL). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 4-5 record.
