Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Mount Juliet Golden Bears (Mt. Juliet, TN) and the visiting Pearl-Cohn Firebirds (Nashville, TN), saw Mount Juliet's basketball squad hold off Pearl-Cohn by a tally of 43-40.
With the victory, Mount Juliet improves its record to 3-8 on the campaign. The Golden Bears travel to Clarkrange (Clarkrange, TN) to confront the Buffaloes in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a record of 3-8.
Next up, the Firebirds confront the Brainerd Panthers (Chattanooga, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 22. Pearl-Cohn will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 72-39 non-league win over CSTHEA Patriots (Chattanooga, TN).
