In Thursday's non-league outing, the New Salem Holsteins (New Salem, ND) basketball squad beat the visiting Richardton-Taylor Raiders (Richardton, ND), by a count of 73-60.
The Holsteins (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Garrison (Garrison, ND). The Troopers go into the B District 6 outing with a 3-1 record.
The Raiders now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Medina/Pingree-Buchanan for a non-league outing on Friday, December 29.
