Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs (Raleigh, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting North Johnston Panthers (Kenly, NC), 71-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Southeast Raleigh upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Bulldogs host Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC) to play the Bengals in a 4A Greater Neuse River bout on Friday, January 5. The Bengals go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Fuquay - Varina won 42-41 in their recent league bout against Cleveland (Clayton, NC)

Next up, the Panthers play the Research Triangle Raptors (Research Triangle Park, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. North Johnston will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Raptors go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 68-55 non-league win over Excelsior Classical Academy (Durham, NC).
