In Thursday's league outing, the North Mahaska Warhawks (New Sharon, IA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Sigourney Savages (Sigourney, IA), by a count of 72-48.
The Warhawks (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Iowa Valley (Marengo, IA). The Tigers go into the South Iowa Cedar outing with a 3-7 record. In their last outing, Iowa Valley was crushed by Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA), 65-28, in a league outing.
The Savages now hold a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to B-G-M for a South Iowa Cedar outing on Friday, January 5. Sigourney will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 57-39 league win over English Valleys (North English, IA). The Bears record now stands at 3-8.
