The Winston-Salem Prep Phoenix basketball team (Winston-Salem, NC), dropped 57-39 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC)

The Greyhounds now possess a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Starmount for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 28. North Surry will battle a Rams team coming off a 69-51 non-league loss to Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC). The Rams record now stands at 3-3.

The Phoenix (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Piedmont Classical (Browns Summit, NC). The Bobcats come into the 1A Northwest Piedmont battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Piedmont Classical dropped by Elevation Prep Academy (Charlotte, NC), 83-54, in a non-league battle.
