South Dakota High School Basketball - Waverly/South Shore thwarts Northwestern Area

The Waverly/South Shore Coyotes (Waverly, SD) basketball knocked off the visiting Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD), 67-47 in Thursday's league test.
The Coyotes (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Elkton/Lake Benton (Elkton, SD). The Elks go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Elkton/Lake Benton went down by Baltic (Baltic, SD), 54-34, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Ipswich for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 2.
