South Carolina High School Basketball - Spring Valley edges Oceanside Collegiate Academy

The Spring Valley Vikings (Columbia, SC) basketball nipped the host Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks (Mt. Pleasant, SC), 53-49 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Vikings (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Lower Richland (Hopkins, SC). The Diamond Hornets go into the non-league test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Lower Richland got by Camden (Camden, SC), 59-53, in a non-league test.

The Landsharks now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Pinewood Prep for a non-league test on Thursday, December 28. Oceanside Collegiate Academy will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 74-47 non-league loss to Atlantic Collegiate Academy (Conway, SC). The Panthers record now stands at 13-4.
